Time really does move fast – it feels like we’ve only just celebrated our 11th anniversary this past November, and yet we’re already stepping confidently into another year at IBCCS TAX with the same energy, ambition and excitement for what’s ahead. Before we fully dive into new projects and plans, we wanted to share a look back at how we marked this important milestone together.
To celebrate 11 years in business, our Cyprus office and team swapped the city for the mountains and headed to Lefkara, in the Limassol region, for a weekend full of shared experiences, connection and fresh energy. The first day was all about slowing down and enjoying the local character of the area. We started with a visit to a local olive factory, discovering how quality olive oil is made – with some tasting along the way, of course. Afterwards, we wandered through the picturesque streets of Lefkara, taking in the charm of the village, its stone-paved alleys and the relaxed pace of life.
As the day drew to a close, we checked into the beautiful Agora Hotel, which quickly became one of the highlights of the trip. The interior design was stunning, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the rooms incredibly comfortable. The service was truly excellent – attentive, friendly and professional – making it the perfect place to unwind. We spent the evening talking, laughing and simply enjoying unhurried time together as a team, reflecting on what has been a fantastic year of development and success for our firm.
The second day was much more active. We took part in an orienteering activity guided by our very own in-house champion Kertu. Exploring the area in teams, reading maps, solving tasks and adding a bit of friendly competition turned into a great mix of fun and teamwork. It was an engaging way to build trust, communication and team spirit – something we would highly recommend to any organisation looking to strengthen bonds within their team.
This anniversary weekend was much more than just a trip away from the office. It was a chance to step back, reconnect, recharge and celebrate how far we have come together as IBCCS TAX. It reminded us that behind every project, every success and every milestone, there is a group of people who genuinely enjoy working and growing together. As we move further into this new year, we carry that same spirit with us – motivated, united and ready for the opportunities ahead.
Anniversaries are also a perfect moment for gratitude. We are deeply thankful to our leadership and management for their vision, trust and continuous support, which allow our teams to grow, take initiative and deliver long-term value to our clients.
